Frequently Asked Questions
T4S collects IoCs from a diverse set of sources, including publicly available Internet sources such as security blogs, open-source threat feeds, and community reports, as well as our own proprietary sources running in public clouds. Our proprietary agentic AI systems, deployed across secure cloud infrastructure, analyze, triage, and curate this data to ensure relevance and accuracy. IoCs are scored based on factors such as timeliness, source reliability, and potential impact, using advanced AI algorithms that continuously adapt to emerging threats. We intentionally keep our IoC list small and focused, as threat intelligence data typically becomes obsolete quickly, ensuring only the most relevant and actionable IoCs are included. Our threat intelligence feed is updated in real-time as new IoCs are processed, with continuous refreshes to ensure the data remains current and actionable.
The T4S threat intelligence feed is provided "as is" and is subject to certain limitations:
Usage Limits: As a free service, access may include quotas on data volume or requests to ensure fair usage and system stability for all users. We trust our community to respect these limits and avoid excessive or automated requests that could strain our infrastructure. API access is not yet available but is planned for a future release, which will provide additional flexibility for integration.
Accuracy: While our AI-driven processes aim to deliver accurate and relevant IoCs, threat intelligence is probabilistic and may include false positives or outdated data.
Permitted Use: The service is for internal business purposes only, such as threat analysis or security operations. Redistribution, commercial exploitation, or reverse-engineering of the feed is prohibited (see our legal page).
Technical Requirements: Users must have compatible systems to integrate with our service, such as a TAXII client or SIEM platform.
In addition to our AI-driven threat intelligence feed, T4S offers consulting services focused on Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk. Our team of cybersecurity experts provides specialized support for creating new detections and optimizing log management to enhance your SIEM's effectiveness. API access for our threat intelligence feed is planned for a future release. Our agentic AI workflow is a sophisticated, multi-stage process designed to deliver high-quality threat intelligence:
Collection: Our AI systems continuously scan and aggregate data from diverse public sources, such as security blogs, forums, and open-source feeds.
Triage: Advanced AI algorithms filter and prioritize IoCs based on relevance, eliminating noise and low-value data.
Curation: Our AI curates IoCs by cross-referencing them with known threat patterns and enriching them with contextual metadata.
Scoring: IoCs are assigned confidence scores using machine learning models that evaluate factors like source credibility, recency, and threat severity.
Continuous Learning: The AI adapts to new threat patterns, improving its accuracy and efficiency over time.
This workflow ensures that our threat intelligence is timely, actionable, and tailored to the needs of cybersecurity professionals.

Yes. Tier4Security fully supports the STIX 2.1 (Structured Threat Information Expression) data model and TAXII 2.1 (Trusted Automated Exchange of Intelligence Information) transport protocol. This ensures seamless, machine-speed integration with modern SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms like Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, and Palo Alto Cortex. By adhering to these industry standards, we eliminate the need for custom ingestion scripts and enable immediate IOC propagation across your security stack.
Unlike static aggregators, our Agentic AI workflow functions as a virtual SOC analyst. It doesn't just collect data; it performs autonomous verification. The AI agents cross-reference new Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) against historical data, sandbox results, and global "allow-lists." By triaging and scoring each indicator based on recency and campaign relevance, the system filters out aging or benign data, delivering a "high-signal" feed that reduces alert fatigue for security teams.
Absolutely. Our TAXII server is designed for native compatibility with the Microsoft Sentinel Threat Intelligence connector and the Splunk Threat Intelligence Framework. Users can configure their TAXII clients to poll our Discovery and Collection endpoints. This allows for automated indicator matching against your logs, enabling real-time detection of malicious IPs, domains, and file hashes within your existing environment.
API access is currently on our development roadmap and will be released in a future phase. Once live, the API will allow threat hunters and developers to programmatically query our curated intelligence database for specific indicators, malware families, and threat actor TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures). Currently, we recommend using our TAXII 2.1 endpoint for automated data ingestion.
Tier4Security is committed to ethical data practices. Our intelligence is gathered from public-facing sources and proprietary sensors that do not store personally identifiable information (PII) of our users. Our services are intended for internal security operations and threat analysis. For more details on permitted use and redistribution restrictions, please refer to our Legal and Privacy Policy page.
